Youth Empowerment for Circular Cities
Wonderland is an European network of architects and urban and regional planners. The network is focused on sustainable and inclusive topics in regeneration and development process’. Social cohesion, justice, accessibility and sustainability are core values and the organization has numerous board members who are experts for various promising projects in Europe (Horizon, Creative Europe, Urbact, Interreg, UIA, Erasmus+, Cost Actions and New European Bauhaus). The Austrian based organization’s aim is to foster exchange through different formats. Since the beginning, wonderland has focused on exchange between professionals and citizens, how the vacant spaces can be a resource for the growing and changing cities and their challenges, while empowering grassroots initiative to have a sustainable impact on their built environment.
Environmental and Territorial Management Institute (ETMI) is a non-governmental, non-profit environmental organization founded in March 2014. ETMI collaborate with experts in the field of environment, territory, other related fields to promote environmental territorial management at regional, national and international level in accordance with modern sustainable development standards. ETMI is mainly active through its five programmes: Biodiversity and Nature Conservation, Climate and Energy, Environmental Governance and legislation, Industry and Health, Sustainability, Territory Management.
New Horizon (NH) is a non-governmental organization founded in 1999, in Ulcinj (Montenegro). Initially, NH has focused on the area of health education, legal aid for women, support for women households and their children, and other marginalized groups. New Horizon’s goals and objectives of this organization are: to increase the participation of children and young people in the social life of the community, to help the improvement of the situation of minorities and marginalized groups, to encourage active citizenship and volunteering at the local level and beyond, to contribute to continuous improvement of interethnic dialogue in Ulcinj, Montenegro and beyond, to develop cross-border dialogue and cooperation, and to promote European and Euro-Atlantic Integration.
Let’s Do It Peja (LDIP), is a community-based organization founded in 2012 with the aim of protecting the community environment, being registered as an NGO on July 3, 2014. Since then LDIP evolved into most reliable environmental protection organization for national and international partners and donors.
LDIP has adopted its Vision for “Green and Clean Kosovo”, being involved in the implementation of various projects and activities under the Mission, “We Advocate, Educate and Cooperate for the Protection of Environment in Kosovo ”.
Within current mid-term strategic program, LDIP has planned dynamic actions for the protection and improvement of the environment in Kosovo envisaging cooperation with local, national and international organizations and institutions to promote environmental protection and reduce negative polluting factors and raising awareness among citizens, businesses and institutions responsible for environmental protection.
The organization’s vision for a “Green and Clean Kosovo” is planned to be achieved through three programmatic pillars:
- Environmental education and awareness;
- Advocacy for strengthening environmental policies and rule of law;
- Promotion of Circular Economy and Social Entrepreneurship;
European Center for Research, Education and Consulting (ECREC)
ECREC is a new organization, established in September 2021 in the Netherlands. Despite the time of the establishment, within the organization are gathered experts with experience more than 30 years’ experience in the field of energy, environment, and entrepreneurship. The main focus of the organization is promoting green energy, climate change and entrepreneurship at various stakeholders through education, researching and consulting. The main target groups of our work are youth, adults, public institutions, private sector, research institutes.
